Babak O.Ya. graduated with honors from Zaporizhzhia Medical Institute in 1978. In 1986, he defended his dissertation thesis for the candidate of medical sciences degree: "Endogenous and opioid peptides at borderline arterial hypertension". In November 1992, he defended his dissertation thesis for the doctor of medical sciences degree : "Connective tissue system of the liver, mononuclear leukocytes of the blood and bone marrow in the clinic of chronic hepatitis". In October 1998 he received the academic title of Professor at the Department of Hospital Therapy and Clinical Pharmacology.

In 2001 he was awarded as a Honored Statement of Science and Technology of Ukraine. Also, Oleg Babak was awarded with the Honorary Diploma of the The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (2005), the Order of Merit, III degree (2008), the Honorary Award of the Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration "Slobozhanska slava" (2010), diplomas of the Academy of Sciences Presidium of Ukraine for the best research work, Man of the Year Laureate by American Biographical Institute. Laureate of the national competition "Business man of Ukraine" (2004), repeatedly winner of the regional rating "Kharkivyanin of the year" in the nomination "Medicine" (2004-2009). Has higher qualification categories in therapy and gastroenterology.

Total work experience - 30 years.

Babak O.Ya. have leaded lots of Ph.D. students and projects for the doctor of medical sciences degree thesis, currently continues to lead the performers of Ph.D. research.

Prof. Babak O.Ya. – an author of more than 500 scientific works, including monographs, directories and textbooks. He is a member of the Board of the Ukrainian Gastroenterological Association Presidium and chairman of the Young Scientists Committee, a member of the Kharkiv Gastroenterological Society, the Ukrainian Therapists Society, a member of editorial boards of professional editions of Ukraine.

In 2005 she defended Ph.D. thesis: "Clinical and pathogenetic substantiation of treatment of patients with Helicobacter pylori-associated duodenal ulcers in combination with hypertension", in 2013 - a doctoral dissertation: "Pathogenetic aspects and clinical features of the comorbidity of chronic obstructive lung disease and chronic pancreatitis ".

In 2016 Prof. Zhelezniakova received the academic title of Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine.

Research work for a long time is devoted to the optimization of diagnostic methods and the development of individualized therapeutic strategies for comorbid pathology.

LYUDMILA OVCHARENKO

 

Associate Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine No. 1 of the KhNMU, PhD, general practitioner of the highest qualification category, cardiologist.

 

Work experience is 45 years.

 

In 1974 she defended her thesis: "Physico-chemical properties of blood and the functional state of the liver in diabetes mellitus."

In 1996 he was awarded the academic title of associate professor in the department of hospital therapy.

The author of 260 publications, including 6 textbooks.

 

A member of the Ukrainian Association of Therapists and Cardiologists of Ukraine,

Takes part in annual scientific conferences of regional and international levels.

 

 

Currently she is a co-executor of the research work of the department "The clinical significance of markers of inflammation and metabolic disorders in patients

with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, taking into account comorbidity ".

 

She was awarded diplomas of the administration of KhNMU for conscientious, hard work, impeccable performance of their duties.

Klimenko Nikolay Ivanovich,

In 1989 defended his candidate dissertation on the topic: "The state of microcirculation and some indicators of the rheological properties of blood in patients with alcoholic damage of the liver." In 2004 he was awarded the academic title of associate professor.

Currently he is a co-executor of the research work '' The clinical significance of markers of inflammation and metabolic disorders in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, taking into account comorbidity ''.

Presently is taking part in a research work of the department «Clinical value of inflammation markers and metabolic disorders for patients with unalcoholic fatty illness of liver regarding comorbidity».

PhD, Associate Professor,

gastroenterologist, therapeutist of the highest category,

responsible for material support of the department, clinical work and postgraduate courses of physicians.

The candidate's dissertation on the theme: "Motor-evacuation dysfunction of the stomach and duodenum in patients with duodenal ulcer: evaluation of severity and correction" was defended in 2005.

Performs a doctoral dissertation.

In 2018 he was awarded the title of associate professor.

Olena Goptsii

Associate professor of the department of internal medicine № 1, candidate of medical sciences (PhD), doctor-internist of higher qualifying category, cardiologist, graduated from the medical faculty of KNMU in 2003. In 2003-2004 passed internship at the department of internal and sports medicine of KNMU. In 2004-2006 studied in residency at the department of propedeutics of internal medicine № 1 KNMU. In 2006-2009 did a research degree at the department of propedeutics of internal medicine № 1 KNMU by speciality „Internal illnesses”. In 2010 defended theses on a theme ”Leptinemia, insulin resistance and tumor necrosis factor in patients with arterial hypertension and obesity”. From 2009 she is an assistant professor of the department of internal medicine № 1 KNMU. In 2013 graduated from Ukrainian engineer-pedagogical academy and completed higher education on speciality «Pedagogics of higher school» by qualification of teacher at universities and higher educational establishments. In 2016 got a permission on teaching English-speaking students. On May, 2014 acquired specialization «cardiology». In 2016 was certified in a higher qualifying category on speciality «therapy». General working experience - 15 years. Dr. Goptsii mastered the method of teaching for domestic and foreign students who study in Ukrainian, Russian and English languages. Implements new methods of teaching according to the requirements of the educational system. Takes active part in preparation of teaching aids and study guides. Masters the basic methods of scientific researches within the framework of the scientific program of the department. Kateryna Lapshyna

Assistant Professor at Department of Internal Medicine №1, Ph.D. Kateryna Lapshyna graduated from the medical faculty of the KNMU in 2012. In 2012-2014 she trained internship at the Department of Internal Medicine №1 of the KNMU and recieved specialty "Internal Diseases". In 2014-2017, Kateryna was studying as s PhD student at the department of Internal Medicine №1 and in 2018 defended his Ph.D. thesis "Clinical significance of cytokeratin 18 and growth factor of fibroblasts 21 in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease patients with hypertension". Has a second higher education on a specialty" Pedagogy of high school ".

Since 2017 the Assistant Professor at the department of internal medicine №1, KNMU.

The total work experience is 7 years.

Kateryna is active member of the Ukrainian Gastroenterological Association, Ukrainian Association of Prophylactic Medicine.

In 2018, Lapshyna K. received two grants for postgraduate training course from the European Association of Gastroenterology: UEG Basic Science Course 2018 - Leven, Belgium. UEG Evidence Based Course 2018 - Vienna, Austria.

Currently takes an active part in the research work of the department, preparation of teaching materials and teaching aids, teaches the course of modern internal medicine, participates in conferences, publishes the results of scientific work in professional journals.

At present, she studies the features of the development and progression of chronic non-comunicable diseases (including genetic markers), develops methods of primary and secondary prevention.
