ANNUAL COMPETITION FOR PREMIUMS FOR YOUNG SCIENTISTS

• Annual Award of the President of Ukraine for young scientists

The award can be lifted researchers, graduate students, trainees, researchers, engineers and technical workers of scientific institutions, organizations and enterprises of Sciences of Ukraine, who do not celebrate 35 years of the award of a scholarship. Persons wishing to obtain the scholarship should have published scientific papers, scientific achievements and to conduct research.

• The annual competition for grants of the President of Ukraine for talented youth (Derzhmolodsport)

Grants of the President of Ukraine for talented youth (hereinafter - Grants) - a state financial support talented youth provided to implement socially significant art projects in the social and humanitarian sphere. Annually awarded 60 grants. The maximum size of each grant may not exceed 75 thousand. Grant citizen of Ukraine may receive up to 35 years.

• Annual competition of research projects for obtaining grants of the President of Ukraine to support research of young scientists (SFFR)

The contest allowed young scientists aged (at the time of the request): Doctors - 35 years, doctoral students - up to 33 years, candidates of sciences - 30 years. Cash grant is: for doctors - 30 thousand. UAH .; for doctoral students - 25 thousand. UAH .; for candidates - 20 thousand. USD. Grants can be given as to conduct new research and those that are a continuation of previous studies (including those that conduct which grants are granted).

The prize is awarded for excellence in basic and applied research, scientific and technological development and claim high prestige domestic science in the world. For young, outstanding achievements which contribute to the development of social and economic life of Ukraine, its development and strengthening the international authority of the state. Number - 60 annual awards in 6 categories: the industrial achievements; for scientific achievement; for creative achievement; for sporting achievements; for personal courage; for his contribution to the youth movement. Size premium - 120 non-taxable minimum incomes. The maximum age (at the time of inquiry) - 35 years.

• Annual Award of NAS of Ukraine for young scientists and university students for the best scientific work

For his work in the field of natural, technical sciences and humanities Presidium of NAS of Ukraine annually (in February) award fourteen prizes for young scientists and fourteen awards for university students. Prizes are awarded to individual authors or group of authors for the best scientific work, as well as a series of research papers on a single topic, for the discovery and invention. The team nominated for the award should include only the main sponsors whose contribution was most significant, and consist of no more than three people. Persons awarded prizes at general meetings of the relevant branch of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine awarded diplomas established form. The competition will not be accepted works that had previously been awarded prizes Sciences of Ukraine, sectoral academies or special prizes other departments that are awarded for competitions.

GRANTS FOR THE dissertations

Boehringer Ingelheim Foundation, annually awards grants for the implementation of dissertation research (PhD) promising young scientists and specialized in basic biomedical science. The contest invited young professionals not more than 27 years at the end of receiving applications residing in the European Union and beyond, working on his thesis, which is dedicated to experiments in basic biomedical research.
