Yukhnovsky Alexei Yulievich was born on 11.12.1972 in Kharkiv. In 1999 he graduated the Kharkiv State Medical Institute. In 1999-2000 he passed the medical intern in specialty therapy at the Kharkiv Regional Clinical Hospital. From 2000 to 2003 he worked at the Cardiology department of the Kharkiv Regional Clinical Hospital. In 2003 he got the specialization in the specialty "Cardiology". From 2003 to 2004 he worked at the outpatient clinic of the Kharkiv Scientific Medical Society as a cardiologist.
In 2004-2007 he studied at the graduate school of the Institute of Therapy of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine. He defended Ph.D. "Pharmacological correction of atrial fibrillation on the basis of study of mechanisms of coagulation and platelet hemostasis", and started to work as the researcher at the Department of Acute Myocardial Infarction of the Institute of therapy (from 2017 Department of Prevention and Treatment of Emergency Conditions).
In 2013 he passed specialization in the specialty "Functional diagnostics". He studies the electrophysiological markers that contribute to sudden cardiac death by using daily monitoring of ECG and physical activity tests: vegetative regulation markers such as heart rate turbulence, AC/DC acceleration and deceleration rates, alternating T wave, etc. Also he investigates the biochemical, genetic mechanisms of reperfusion injury of myocardium after acute myocardial infarction and vegetative myocardial dysfunction in patients with acute coronary syndrome.
