The Department of Scientific and Medical Information has been operating since the foundation of the Institute. The Department consists of the scientific-and-medical information service, the intellectual property expert, museum and the scientific medical library. The Department operation is aimed at the effective informational accompaniment of the Institute scientific research with the use of modern information technologies, scientific-and-medical and patent resources, the support of science communications facilities, the maintenance of inventive work, the revelation of intellectual property objects in scientific research and the assistance of innovation strategy realization in the institution.
