DEPARTMENT OF SCIENTIFIC AND
ORGANISATIONAL WORK

Since opening of Institute an Organization-methodical Department functioned in the structure of scientific subsections, which from 1993 was reorganized in the Department of coordination of therapeutic service of Ukraine. Sosnova I.I. was the first manager of Department. One of the founders of scientific direction of Department is the Candidate of Medical Sciences Volos B.O. From 2000 to 2004 the head of Department was Gerasymenko G. M. From 2004 Liliya Ushkvarok, the Candidate of Medical Sciences, the Senior Research Worker, manages the Department.

Basic scientific direction – study of the state of health of population on the basis of determination of level of risk factors and epidemiology criteria of development of basic chronic uninfectious diseases.

Most important research resultsь

• The computer software „System of monitoring of risk factors of chronic uninfectious diseases at the level of primary medico-sanitary help” was created.

• The original informative base of the state of morbidity, prevalence of basic nosology forms and state of health of population of different regions of Ukraine was formed.

• The system of the informative providing of physicians of primary contact in the type of statistic-informative documents: „Cards of consideration of risk factors” and „Cards of correction of risk factors” was developed.

• The algorithm of monitorouvannya factors of risk and choice of strategy of prophylaxis of sertsevo-soudinnih diseases is developed.

One of assignments of organization-methodical work of the Department is introduction of scientific developments of Institute in work of medico-prophylactic establishments of Ukraine.

The collaborators of the Department hold conferences on the actual questions of therapy and domestic medicine within the framework of „Schools of internists of the name of L.T. Malaya”, and provide the organizational, methodical, consultative and diagnostic help on places in all regions of Ukraine.

In 2004 Public organization was created “Association of young scientists and specialists of institutes of AMN Ukraine Kharkov” at the head with zav. by a department Oushcvaroc L.B. And from in 2005 in Institute of therapy the founded “Day of young scientist and specialist”.

As a result of work for the period of existence of department over 170 professional articles, 380 theses, 7 methodical recommendations, are printed, 2 certificates are got about registration of copyrights.

On the base of Institute on the courses also during conducting „Days of internist”, common meeting of scientific societies and naoucovo-practichnih conferences the thousand of doctors on a year promote qualification about 2,5.

The clinical base of Department is Consultative Polyclinic of Institute.
