The laboratory of biochemical and immunoenzyme methods of examinations

The laboratory was formed in 1982. It was headed by: candidate of medical sciences Lazareva S.A. (1982-88 y.y.), candidate of biological sciences Bakhova L.K (1988-91 y.y.), candidate of biological sciences Samokhina L.M. (1999-2004 y.y.), doctor of biological sciences Kolodub F.À. - 1991-98 y.y., 2004-2007 y.y., doctor of medical sciences Kondakov I.K. since àpril 2007 till the present time.

8 scientists are working in the laboratory in present time: leading research worker Samokhina L.M., senior research workers Bondar T.M., Chenchic T.O., research workers Gubanova O.M., Peteneva L.L., Shut I.V., junior scientists Schenyavsca O.M., Derevyanchenco L.I.

In 2007 the laboratory is accredited on the right of detåñtion about 50 metabolic parameters mainly by methods enzymatic and immunoenzymatic analyses.

The basic directions of working of laboratory are ñreating and introduction of modern biochemical, enzyme, immunoenzyme markers in prediction of development of diseases of cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal tract, lungs and kidneys for estimation severity of diseases current and monitoring drugs and no drugs therapy.

For last years the employees of laboratory shown:

  • Participation of enzymes of alternative ways of angiotenzin II formation and endotelium destruction and their inhibitors in forming, prognosing of development and control of treatment of cardiovascular diseases, chronic obstructive respiratory diseases, renal diseases (candidate of biological sciences Samokhina L.M.)
  • Participation of nitric oxide in mechanisms of regulation of vascular tone and plate formation, sexual hormones at cardiovascular diseases and opportunity of correction of infringements at this part of regulation (candidate of biological sciences Bondar Ò.Ì.)
  • The role of violations of lipid spectrum, free-radical processes, antioxidant protection systems, cytokines and immune complexes in development of diseases of cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal tract, kidneys (candidate of biological sciences Chenchik Ò.Î.)

In laboratory are developed and introduced in scientific recearches the original highly sensitive enzymatic and immunoenzymatic methods and kits for detection of activities of neutral proteinases, nonthrypsin-like proteinases, chymase, tonin, elastases, calpains, cathepsin G concentration, thrypsin- and elastase-inhibitory activities of alpha-1 proteinase inhibitor, alpha-2 macroglobulin, from them using was developed the new methods for forecasting of development and control of treatment efficiency of cardiovascular diseases, illnesses of kidneys, liver, gastrointestinal tract. This fragment of researches is marked in 2002 by the gilded youth of World intellectual property organization (WIPO). Samokhina L.M. - the recipient of an WIPO award as the Best Ukrainian Woman Inventor. Samokhina L.M. - recipient of an award by the diploma of Ministers Cabinet of Ukraine for ponderable payment in development of the state system of legal guard of intellectual property in Ukraine, of many years conscientious labour, high achievements in the invention field.

By the employees of laboratory it is published about 500 scientific labours, 60 patents are got more.
